Ideal Mini will be joining Churchill Secondary in its first ever Sister School Exchange to Japan in November of 2016.  This trip is open to Senior students in Grade 11 and 12 for the 2016-17 school year.  Application packages and a tentative itinerary are available through Ernie at school.  $500 deposits are due by Friday, May 13, 2016 and limited spots will be made available on a first come first served basis.  This deposit will be fully refunded if there is not enough interest and does not go ahead.

If you have any further questions, please direct them to Ernie at epao@vsb.bc.ca.

UPDATE: We will be moving ahead with the next organizational stage for our Japan trip.  We will hold a meeting for students on Tues, May 24 at lunch time in Ernie’s room for further information.

Congrats to Ansel Hartanto, Max Weber, Hal Saunders and Tony Guo who represented Ideal Mini at IGNITE, a two-day business competition held at the University of British Columbia. Over the course of two days, our students faced a series of impromptu challenges and a case study after receiving relevant workshops on day one.  They then represented a new company within an industry and as company executives, they developed their business strategies, made key decisions, ultimately competing against other teams for the best business performance.  Out of 16 teams, our team from Ideal Mini came out with an amazing 2nd place finish!  CONGRATULATIONS ANSEL, MAX, HAL and TONY!!!  Well done!
